RE-CLAD OF EXISTING COMMERCIAL OFFICES TO INCLUDE THERMAL AND AESTHETIC IMPROVEMENTS
PLANNING PERMISSION GRANTED
CWMBRAN, SOUTH WALES
Project includes a re-clad of an existing office block in South Wales for one of our clients. As well as aesthetic improvements, the proposals also include thermal improvements using modern cladding systems as well as thermally efficient glazing fitted to new modern frames. Glazing specification to differ on both sides of the building to account for passive solar gain as well as solar shading to prevent unnecessary heating/cooling of the building.
Planning permission grated in October 2021 for both the thermal improvements, re-cladding and a change of use to allow a prospective tenant to use the building for R&D purposes as well.
